COMMUNITY VILLAGE

This year’s theme, Culture Beats in Tremé, comes to life in the Kids Area with hands-on activities centered around rhythm, creativity, play, and cultural expression.

Jean Carlos González Colón of BorikéNOLA will lead Little Drum Makers, a hands-on workshop where children can build and decorate their own percussion instruments while exploring rhythm and sound.

Families can also enjoy activities with the Louisiana Children’s Museum, while the Historic New Orleans Collection and Strategic Thoughts NOLA will offer a space to learn, play, and enjoy the game of chess.

Come make, play, learn, and celebrate with us in the Kids Area on Saturday, October 24.
